Fight against loneliness


As we celebrate valentines day and share our love with our nearest and dearest it is important to remember those who are living on their own. Reaching out to elderly neighbours or relatives who you haven’t seen in a while will make a huge difference to their well being.

  • Ask if they have everything they need and check if their house is warm enough.
  • Invite them over for a meal or a coffee
  • Encourage them to look after themselves and their health
  • Make sure they have appropriate means of escape if there is an emergency
