Did you know that a hoarding disorder can often be associated with a person suffering from Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)? People with OCD are often predisposed to collecting a wide variety of things including paper, books, photographs, food and clothing – even animals; all of these possessions are considered to be extremely valuable and safeguarded accordingly. We understand that this is why it can be particularly difficult to take the first step to seek help when the home environment becomes unsafe as a result of collecting and storing such items.  This is when you may need our hoarding clean up service.

At Trauma Clean 24 Seven we know that we are often dealing with extremely complex situations that require a sensitive and understanding approach. Sometimes just having the knowledge that your possessions can be reused and enjoyed by someone else is reassuring.   Whenever we provide a hoarding clean up service, we work with foodbanks and provide donations to charities wherever possible to ensure that many items can be reused or repurposed. Rest assured that if we find any important documentation, money or personal photographs during the service, these are placed into a sealed clear bag and returned to the customer for safekeeping.

We are also registered as waste carriers which means we take on the responsibility for appropriately disposing of all waste we remove from our customers properties.

Before you ask anyone to remove any items from your property for disposal, always check they are a licenced waste carrier.
